The old Lingo Solver code has been hanging around for a few months and I wasn't sure what to do with it. I don't play Lingo anymore and I'm not sure if it's even on TV in the states anymore. It was useful however, and it might be used by others, so I'm putting it back online.
A few changes though...
1) Renamed Lingo Solver to Word Solver (just to make it a bit more generic).
2) A couple of bug fixes.
3) A couple of subtle UI tweaks to keep it inline with the other Dojotech apps.
So, with the changes, Lingo Word Solver 1.5 is available for download here:

They have actually been posted on the site for a couple weeks now, but I wanted to make a quick post in case anyone is subscribed to the RSS feed and hasn't been on the site in a while.
That's right! Dojotech Software has an RSS feed now... pretty nifty. You can view the raw wonders of XML here: www.dojotech.com/Blogs/Sean/rss.xml. Better yet, subscribe to my FeedBurner feed here: feeds.feedburner.com/DojotechSoftware.
Anyways... in the software sections you can pick up my two HTML tools.
- HTML Template Browser - Scans a directory of HTML templates and displays them in an easy-view for template browsing.
- HTML Tagger - This little utility will scan the source code of any given website and spit out a list of HTML tags that are used. You can clean up, edit, and filter the list as you like.
So, check them out. Enjoy.

Well, I said I was updating some of the freeware I usually have here. Here's the latest effort, the new and improved Server Pinger 1.0. I didn't add any major new features, but I cleaned up the way it works and added support for saving lists, etc.
I'm still going to add some additional features like SQL Server testing, web server testing, and other server-specific testing in addition to ping times.
If anyone has any feature requests for version 2, post a comment to this posting.

I finally started re-releasing the freeware that I had on this site. But, I can't just leave well enough alone. I've updated Advanced Search to version 2.1. There are some cosmetic tweaks, a few bug fixes, and I've finished the Batch features.
So, not only does Advanced Search find files quickly, but you can also use it to rename an entire directory of files (including sub-directories) or move files from one place to another (based on filter). I like to use the Batch Move feature to move all the MP3s from folders that I've downloaded into my iTunes folder.
If you find any interesting uses for Advanced Search, login and post comments on this post.
Download Advanced Search from the product page:

Sean

Here's the first in a batch of new software I'm going to be releasing over the winter. I'm also working on new versions of Server Pinger, the MySpace API, and some other new tools. Give this one a shot, it still has a while to go, but it already has some useful applications.
I use it for clearing out comments from my music collection's tags and generally fixing all the ID3 tags to a standard. Especially with Apple's Genius feature, it's important to keep your music organised.
Check out the main page for it here: www.dojotech.com/Topics/Software/Houdini_ID3_Tagger/
