Dojotech Spotify Recorder will determine when Spotify is playing and automatically save the songs to mp3. It will automatically tag the MP3 file with song title and artist. You can tag the files afterward to add the album and genre using the inbuilt MP3 tag editor (just right-click the file in the recorded list). Dojotech Spotify Recorder will work on any Windows operating system from Windows XP to Windows 7.

Troubleshooting tips:

  • Ensure any microphones (internal or external) are muted.
  • Don't touch Spotify while recording. Dojotech Spotify Recorder will pick up UI changes to Spotify as song changes.
  • Make sure the volume in the Spotify application and your system volume are both turned up to comfortable levels.
  • If you have 5.1 surround sound or any other "special" speaker configuration, make sure your speaker audio properties are set to "Stereo" and the sample rate is set to 44100k (Win7 and Vista).

This powerful tool is used to view, edit, and manage your MP3 collection. In addition to standard ID3 tag editing, Houdini provides special batch functions, internet-enabled lookup services, and album normalisation. It's free, it's new, and it's powerful! Houdini Edit Window exposes all of the selected mp3's editable fields. You can also update an individual song's album art from the edit window by double-clicking the album art display. The Normalise Album window lets you update an entire album at once. You can update the album name, artist name, genre, and clear the comments for all the selected songs. The Update Album Art window will allow you to update the album art for as many songs as you'd like (you'd usually want to update an album). You can either load a saved cover on your computer or Houdini will search the internet for matching covers.

Anyone who has worked with web templates, knows how difficult it can be to see all the templates you've downloaded. That's what Web Template Browser is for. Point it at a directory and it will find all the main pages of a template (index.html, default.htm, etc.) and list them in a browse window. Each item will load the template in the embedded browser. Double-click an item and it will open in your default web browser.
